In this post I collected a few rhymes and songs which I liked and learnt during this semester.

Catch a tiger by the toe.
If the hollers let him go
Eeny, meeny, miny, mo.
Please, Mr. Crocodile
Can we cross your river?
-No you can't!
Unless you're wearing (colour).
Humpty- Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty-Dumpty had a great fall
All the king's horses
And all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty
together again.
Chewing my bubble gum, Yum, yum
Playing with my yo-yo... yoyo...
When along came
Herman the worm
And he was this big.
I said: Herman, what happened?
And he said: I ate (a cherry)
The next day... Sitting on a...
I ate (something)
My Bonnie is over the ocean,
My Bonnie is over the sea.
My Bonnie is over the ocean.
Oh bring back my Bonnie to me.
Charlie Chaplin walks like this,
Charlie Chaplin throws a kiss,
Charlie Chaplin winks one eye,
Charlie Chaplin waves goodbye!
There was a princess

She lived in a big, high tower...
A wicked fairy cast a spell...
The princess slept
for a hundred years...
A great big forest grew around...
A handsome prince
came riding by...
He chopped the trees
down one by one...
He woke the princess
with a kiss...
Everybody's happy now,

The sailor went to sea, sea, sea
To see what he could

And all that he could

Was the bottom of the deep blue sea, sea, sea.
Everywhere we go
People always ask us
Who we are
Where we come from
And we tell them
We come from
And if they don't hear us
We sing a little louder
Everywhere we go
Jenny works with one hammer,
One hammer, one hammer.
Then she works with two...
three...
Jenny works with 6 hammers
and she goes to sleep...
Jenny's wide-awake now
and she starts to work...
The princess pat,
Lived in a tree,
She sailed across,
The seven Seas,
She sailed across,
The channel two,
And she took with her,
A ring of bamboo,
A ring of bamboo
And what is that?
Its something made,
By the princess pat,
Its red and gold,
And purple too,
Thats why its called,
A ring of bamboo
Apples, peaches,
pears, and plums,
Tell me when
your birthday comes?
Jelly on a plate,
Jelly on a plate.
Wibble, wobble,
Wibble, wobble
Jelly on a plate.
You've got to peel bananas,
peel, peel bananas,
got to peel bananas
... slice bananas/
chop bananas/
mash bananas,
eat bananas,
Go bananas!
Mix the pancake,
Stir the pancake.
Put in a pancake,
Toss the pancake,
Catch it if you can.
Popping popcorn,
popping popcorn,
Adding salt, adding salt,
eating salty popcorn,
eating salty popcorn
Nice and hot, nice and hot.
